Ball Spline SSP/SSPM
Ball Splines

Ball Spline SSP/SSPM

Recirculating ball spline. Carries linear loads and transmits torque at the same time — useful when you need a single shaft to do both. Shaft diameters from 4mm to 100mm. Cylindrical, flange, or block.

Key Specifications:

  • Shaft Diameter: 4mm to 100mm
  • Types: SSP (with key), SSPM (without key)
  • Configurations: Cylindrical, flange, block types
Applications: Robotic systems, Transport equipment, Pick-and-place machines, Heavy load applications
NV/SV Cross Roller Slide Way
Cross Roller Guides

NV/SV Cross Roller Slide Way

Crossed roller slide. Non-recirculating, so smoother than ball-based alternatives at very fine resolutions. STUDROLLER® anti-creep cage stops the cage from walking out of position. Standard kit for optical benches and measurement gear.

Key Specifications:

  • Precision: Ultra-precision (UP), precision (P), high (blank)
  • Technology: STUDROLLER® anti-creep system
  • Rails: Four rails with eight retainers
Applications: Optical equipment, Measurement instruments, Precision positioning, Scientific instruments
Slide Bush Linear Bushing
Linear Bushings

Slide Bush Linear Bushing

Plain old linear ball bushing — recirculating balls, outer cylinder, ball retainer. SM (standard), SMF (flange), triple wide, GM series. The everyday bushing for general automation work.

Key Specifications:

  • Design: Standard (SM) and flange (SMF) types
  • Ball Motion: Recirculating ball elements
  • Construction: Outer cylinder with ball retainer
Applications: Linear motion systems, Automation equipment, Material handling, General machinery
BG Type Linear Actuator
Linear Stages

BG Type Linear Actuator

Slide guide and ball screw in one body. The "U" shape rail with four-point contact ball grooves gives it the rigidity to hit ±1μm repeatability. For when you need an actuator that ships ready to bolt down — not a kit of parts.

Key Specifications:

  • Integration: Linear guide + ball screw in one unit
  • Repeatability: ±1μm (precision grade)
  • Contact: Four-point ball grooves, four ball circuits
Applications: Precision positioning, Measurement equipment, Automotive testing, Semiconductor equipment
TOPBALL® High Load Linear Bushing
Heavy Duty Bushings

TOPBALL® High Load Linear Bushing

Four times the load of the standard Slide Bush. Sixty-four times the life. Adjustable load plates, floating seals, self-aligning. Picked over standard bushings when downtime costs more than the parts.

Key Specifications:

  • Load Capacity: 4x standard Slide Bush
  • Life: 64x longer than standard series
  • Speed: Up to 180m/min maximum
Applications: Heavy load transport, High-speed automation, Industrial equipment, Harsh environments

About NB Corporation

NB Corporation — Nippon Bearing in Japan — has been making linear motion parts since the early '70s. Ball splines, cross-roller slides, linear bushings, integrated stages. They've done this long enough that they hold their own proprietary patents: STUDROLLER® anti-creep, TOPBALL® load plates, the BG actuator family.

The reason engineers pick NB is consistency. The Japanese supply chain doesn't drift, the tolerances don't slip lot to lot, and when something runs hot — semiconductor, medical, high-cycle automation — the parts last. TOPBALL Ultimate in particular gets specified where downtime gets measured in dollars per minute.

Bravo carries the full NB catalog. If THK is overkill or under-rated for your job, this is usually the answer.

Core Capabilities

Made tight, made consistent

Fifty years of building precision linear motion in Japan. The tolerances hold lot to lot.

Their own engineering

STUDROLLER® anti-creep, the BG integrated actuator, TOPBALL® Ultimate. NB invented these — they're not someone else's parts in a different box.

Wide catalog

Simple bushings up through high-load ball splines and integrated stages. Almost any linear motion problem has a part in here.

Sizing help

NB and Bravo both have engineers who do this for a living. Send us the load and the duty cycle — we'll come back with a part number.
