Direct drive, sub-micron, no excuses.
Featured Products

PDDR Direct Drive Rotary Motor
Direct drive rotary motor with the encoder built in. Mounts straight to the rotary table — no coupling to backlash, no maintenance, no surprises. The pick for indexers and rotary stages where every micron of error gets reported.
Key Specifications:
- Built-in high-resolution encoder
- Direct mounting for rotary tables/loads
- Zero backlash, zero maintenance

DX F Series Ironless Linear Motor
Ironless linear motor — zero cogging, smooth as it gets. The U-channel magnet track is modular in 60mm increments, so stroke length is whatever you need. Up to 5366N peak on the DX90B. Hall sensors and high-flex cables included.
Key Specifications:
- Peak Force: Up to 5366N (DX90B model)
- Continuous Force: Up to 1234N
- Zero cogging, smooth motion

PIXB Iron Core Linear Motor
Iron core when you need force more than you need silky-smooth. Up to 3200N peak, 1463N continuous, with thermal design that keeps it from cooking on duty cycles that would melt a lesser motor. Heavy-load point-to-point work.
Key Specifications:
- Peak Force: Up to 3200N
- Continuous Force: Up to 1463N
- High force density and rigidity

CVC Circular Voice Coil Motor
Voice coil motor — lightweight coil, no commutation, fast as anything. Force is proportional to current across the whole stroke. Pair it with a fine encoder and you're at sub-micron. Optical alignment, valve control, anywhere a quick small move matters.
Key Specifications:
- Peak Force: Up to 384.44N
- Continuous Force: Up to 128.15N
- Direct drive, fast response

PLA Series Linear Actuator
Ready-to-bolt linear actuator. Comes with the motor (ironless DXF or iron-core PIX), encoders, and linear guideways already assembled. Standard strokes up to 1240mm, custom builds past 3500mm. Skips the headache of integrating the parts yourself.
Key Specifications:
- Motor Options: DXF Ironless or PIX Ironcore
- Standard Stroke: Up to 1240mm
- Custom Strokes: Over 3500mm available
About PBA Systems
PBA Systems was founded in Singapore in 1999. They build direct drive motors and the actuators, stages, and gantries that get built around them. The catalog runs ironless and iron-core linear motors, voice coil motors, rotary direct drives, and the PLA series of complete linear actuators.
What PBA actually competes on is the engineering. The winding patterns, the magnet track design, the thermal handling — they own the IP and it shows up in motors that hold sub-micron and don't fade under duty cycle. Their drives side, distributed via ACS Motion Control, is what ends up in laser scanning and flat panel inspection where vibration suppression isn't optional.
If you're building a high-precision gantry or rotary indexer and the obvious vendor isn't holding spec, ask us about PBA.
Core Capabilities
No mechanical drivetrain to fight
Direct drive means no belts, no leadscrews, no backlash. Just current in, force out.
Sub-micron, sustained
High-resolution encoders, tight thermal design, and the right control architecture. PBA holds sub-micron when most of the catalog goes soft.
Modular tracks
Magnet tracks join in 60mm steps. Stroke length is whatever your machine envelope allows.
Plus ACS Motion Control
PBA distributes ACS drives — what gets specified for laser scanning, semicon, and flat panel work. Bravo can quote both in one PO.
